Australia have also won the ICC Champions Trophy twice in 2006 and in 2009 making them the first and the only team to become Back to Back champions in the Champions Trophy tournaments. Australia also have been the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup champions (Under 19 Cricket World Cup) in 1988, 2002 and 2010. Australia were runners-up in the ICC World Twenty20 in 2010
Bangladesh
As of May 2010, Bangladesh have played in 68 Tests, winning only 3. Their first victory was against Zimbabwe and the other two against a West Indian team crippled by a players' strike. They have lost 57 of their matches, and 33 of these by an innings.[1] Bangladesh's performance has led to repeated calls for them to lose their Test status. However under the current coach Jamie Siddons Bangladesh has been improving their test performance in the recent years. They have managed to build resistance against the stronger nations like India, England and New Zealand lately. Most of the cricketing experts now firmly believe that Bangladesh is progressing everyday and they are worthy of playing test cricket.[2]</ref> In the one day form of the game Bangladesh has shown a very consistent form.[3]</ref> They have managed to defeat all the test playing nations at least once. Tigers have also developed a habit of defeating the stronger test playing countries at a reguler interval. The whole cricket world now consider Bangladesh as force to be reckoned with. The performance of the Tigers in 2010 also reflects their overall improvement as Test and ODI side. this year in their home soil Bangladesh created history by Whitewashing New Zealand convincingly in the ODI series. The Kiwis were utterly overwhelmed in every match, this was the first major whitewash by Tigers against a full strength test squad
India
The Indian cricket team is currently ranked first (as of 15 October 2010) by the ICC in Tests and second (as of 15 October 2010) in ODIs.[3] As of October 2010, the Indian team has played 442 Test matches, winning 107, losing 138 and drawing 196 of its games, with 1 match ending in a tie.[4] India has a relatively better record in One Day Internationals, winning 52% of matches played. Currently, Gary Kirsten is the head coach while Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the captain in all forms of the game.[5] Under the leadership of Dhoni, the Indian team has set a national record for most back-to-back ODI wins (9 straight wins)[6] and has emerged as one of the most formidable teams in international cricket
Pakistan
Pakistan are the ICC Cricket World Cup 1992 champions, ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup champions twice in 2004 and in 2006 making them the first and the only team to become back to back champions in the U-19 Cricket World Cup tournaments and they are also the ICC World Twenty20 2009 champions. Pakistan have been semi finalist 3 times in the ICC Champions Trophy in 2000, 2004 and 2009.

As of 3 October 2009, the South African team has played 344 Test matches, winning 120 (34.88%), losing 121 (35.17%) and drawing 103(29.94%) of its games.[2] As of 3 October 2009, the South African team has played 426 ODI Matches, winning 264 (61.97%), losing 145 (34.04%), drawing 5 (1.17%) and getting a "No Result" in 12 (2.82%) of its games
Srilanka
Sri Lankan national cricket team transformed themselves from underdog status to a major cricketing nation during the 1990s. The team went on to win the 1996 Cricket World Cup, beating Australia in the finals, and becoming World Champions. Since then, the team has continued to be a major force in international cricket. Sri Lankan cricket team reached the finals of the 2007 Cricket World Cup but lost to Australia in a rain-affected final match. The batting of Sanath Jayasuriya and Aravinda de Silva (retired), backed up by the bowling of Muttiah Muralitharan and Chaminda Vaas (retired), among many other talented cricketers, has underpinned the successes of Sri Lankan cricket during the last 15 years.
